Rush Select Team Celebrates Success at the 2023 President's Day Tournament in Phoenix, Arizona
Four Rush Select Team players shine at the President's Day Tournament, with two of them securing championship titles for their respective teams.
The 2023 President's Day Tournament (PDT), held in Phoenix, Arizona, from February 17th to February 21st, was a showcase of exceptional talent from the Rush Select Team. We would like to congratulate the following players who were selected to participate in the tournament:
2006 Boys - Brady Wade
2006 Boys - Diego Gonzalez
2009 Boys - Miles Gorton
2010 Girls - Brooklyn Rubalcava
The PDT proved to be a significant success for the Rush Select Team, with two of its very own CS Rush players claiming championship titles. Brady Wade emerged victorious in the boys' 2006 championship game, demonstrating his exceptional skills and competitive spirit throughout the tournament.
Meanwhile, Brooklyn Rubalcava continued her meteoric rise in the world of Rush soccer, securing the girls' 2010 championship title by scoring the winning goal. Her performance at the PDT further cemented her reputation as a Rush player to watch.
The President's Day Tournament offered these talented players an opportunity to test their skills against top competition and gain valuable experience in high-stakes matches. The success of Brady Wade and Brooklyn Rubalcava at the tournament not only reflects their individual talent but also highlights the quality of coaching and player development within the Rush Select Team.
